After a full day of covered bridge shopping, Peaceful Waters Campground offers a relaxing way to unwind. Whether you like boating, fishing, or just enjoying fellowship time around a crackling fire watching the sky fill with stars, this campground offers it all.
The eight beautiful rustic cabins are just minutes away from Rockville and situated among Indiana’s fall scenery. They are just the thing to make your stay extra special. The two newest “cabins” are converted grain bins with red cedar walls and handcrafted furniture by locals Dave Blake, Terry Neese and Mike Stewart. Complete with air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot they are ready for your stay! Outside you’ll find fire rings and picnic tables. There are even cabins that sleep up to nine people, perfect for a family stay or a group of friends gathering.
For more information on the cabins and what is available, please contact Peaceful Waters at 765-592- 6458. There are also both electric and non-electric camp sites with optional water hook-ups and RV dump station.
If you haven’t shopped enough, don’t fret, there’s plenty of opportunity right here to continue Covered Bridge magic.
You will find The Old Goat Trading Post on site that offers traditional fur hats, mittens, and much more, including buckskin clothing. Also at the Old Goat Trading Post, we have a custom leather tooler by Comparose, (Alex Madsen), woodworking,
