Located at 102 South Market Street in downtown Rockville, Urban Farmchic offers a distinctive shopping experience. The design talents of Rachel Engel, a licensed designer, are highlighted throughout the county meets urban style shop. The shop features an awe-inspiring collection of vintage, salvage, handmades, and boutique clothing.
After acquiring the old Indiana license branch, located in the lower half of the historic Parke County Hotel, a vision was born and Rachel soon set into motion the work needed to create the building of her dreams. Rachel’s high regard for the use of recycled materials shows throughout. The unique exteriors & interiors appearance sets it apart from anything else in the Parke County area.
You will be amazed as you enter the front door and are greeted by our mascot “bronzed cow head” hanging on the newly exposed brick wall. Recycled materials, an actually grain bin, pick-up truck bed and a dressing room made out of a tractor cab add to the interiors ambiance. A full front porch, complete with original post, door, and roof will impress. A salvaged piece of history over 100 year old, has been given new life.
Urban Farmchic boutique clothing is fun, funky, and feminine. Lines from infant to adult women and easy on the pocket book. You will also find some of the highest quality upcycled chalk painted furniture displayed in the ideal surroundings. If early country antiques are more of your interest, Urban Farmchic offers cupboards, dry sinks, tables, and country smalls. Urban Farmchic has wonderful home décor as well. Galvanized, textiles, pictures, candles, pillows, signs, metal words and letters are sure to give your home that “fixer upper” look. Rachel and her staff are always pleased to help you with your design choices.
Be sure to check Urban Farmchic when you come to enjoy everything Parke County has to offer.
