Located in historic Marshall, Indiana, home of the Marshall Arch, a family set out to transform a former Massey Harris tractor implement store, the Marshall Hardware and later a print shop into their dream of a family restaurant.
All of the remodeling was completed by Marc and Larry Myers, a talented woodturner. In the kitchen the other two owners Susan, who is Marc’s wife and Lori Brown who is Susan’s sister operate with many years of experience in the food industry. The two of them create many delicious items which are on their menu. The Arch Burger, named after the historic Marshall arch has become a signature sandwich, also known for their delicious fried chicken, catfish, beef manhattans and hand breaded tenderloins. The little town of Marshall has become a crowded spot on Fridays and Saturdays when the restaurant is serving up their catfish, barbecued ribs and fried chicken buffet dinner. On Sundays at Under The Arch many families gather like the old days and enjoy a wonderful buffet with homemade food just like grandma used to make.
They also have a gift shop located at the front of the restaurant which will feature many local talents and The Myers Family Fudge which Marc and Susan also own and operate during the Covered Bridge Festival in downtown Rockville under the big tent. The Under The Arch family would love to personally invite visitors to Parke County as well as locals to come, relax and enjoy the rustic, country environment.
