There's fun for everyone in the family at the Mansfield Village Annual Mushroom Festival the weekend of April 24th and 25th, 2010!
Come early and register for organized mushroom hunts and buy or sell mushrooms at the auction. Win a cash prize for the largest mushroom each day, regardless of where it was found.
Visitors who join in the mushroom hunt can take home, not only a delicious meal, but also a hand carved mushroom walking stick for those who find the largest and most mushrooms.

Registration for the hunt is Saturday and Sunday from 8 until 10 AM at Fox's Overlook. Entry fee $8.00. Mushrooms will be sold throughout the day at the Mushroom Auction both Saturday and Sunday, with thousands of dollars changing hands from bidders and sellers from near and far. The Auction will be held at the Red barn.
The Mansfield Village Car Show will be held Sunday (April 25, 2010) with registration from 8 AM until Noon. Enjoy a free oldies concert under the Pavilion. Awards will be presented immediately following the concert. This is a great chance to show off your car while enjoying the Mushroom Festival.
Every special event in Mansfield offers lots of shopping and great food. Mansfield shops will be open and vendors will be set up selling arts, crafts, antiques and flea market gems. Free tours will be given at the Historic Mansfield Roller Mill and for those who come to eat there's every kind of food imaginable.
Mansfield is located in Parke County, Indiana, 6 miles south of US 36, just off the east side of SR 59 or 10 miles north of US 40. Mansfield is just north of Brazil on State Road 59.
