Celebrating Our Canine Companions
Bring your canine friends and join us in Parke County for the Mansfield Village Dog Days of Summer slated for July 10th & 11, 2010.
This summer festival will feature woodoworkers with demonstrations at the Mansfield Roller Mill along with the Putnam County Woodworkers. Village shoppes will be open, and festival foods will be available.
In addition to woodworking booths, visitors can browse unique shops in search of arts & crafts, antiques and collectables. Vendors will be set up all throughout the village.
The produce market during the festival offers July-ripened fruits and vegetables. Sample the variety of delicious foods available to put together your own spontaneous picnic. Enjoy the beauty of a waterfall on big Raccoon Creek. Tour the Historic Mansfield Roller Mill and stroll thru the 1867 Mansfield Covered Bridge.
Bring a lawn chair to enjoy uplifting, spiritual songs at the HI-99 Summer Outdoor Concert Series "Gospel Celebration," taking place all day Saturday and also on Sunday morning.
At the 2004 Gospel Celebration, spectators gathered to hear Homeward Bound, followed by a special inspirational appearance by the Oak Ridge Boys. Reserved seating was sold out, while others enjoyed the show from the lawn. Other performers were Higher Calling, Rick Wetnight, The Woodsman, and John Baker.
Tickets are now on sale.
On Sunday is a Good 'Ole Country Auction by Dana Auction Company.
Come join us for a great weekend!

PARK & RIDE THE TROLLEY

We just spent the day travelling to Mansfield to attend the Woodworker's festival advertised in the Indiana Festival Guide and on this website. We were very disappointed to get there and see that it is actually next weekend. Please update information on the website for people to be able to attend this.
Thank you.

A few of the festivals, such as the Woodworkers Festival and Cornbread Festival, have been extended to an additional weekend this year. Unfortunately some press releases indicated the first weekend only. To confirm dates, you might send an email to Pat@MansfieldVillage.com and we will be glad to let you know of any changes. - Pat
